About

We’ve all wanted to get something for nothing at some time or another, haven’t we?

I’m not trying to put folks out of business or take things I don’t deserve. But there’s something enormously tempting about free stuff. I love getting it in the mail. Because I’m not paying for these samples/free gifts/etc., there are no expectations. I’m not going to be upset or dissatisfied because… hell, it’s free.

However, sometimes it’s hard to find good free stuff. This blog will chronicle my attempts to get something for nothing. Because it’s such a greedy task, I pledge that I will use every free gift/sample/whatever. If I can’t use it, I’ll find someone who can. I can’t promise I’ll use these things in the way their distributors intended, but I will most certainly use them.

This week I spent a few hours Googling “free stuff” and sifting through those sites that actually point you toward legitimate free samples. I racked up a crapload of junk email, and I ordered tons of free stuff. Sometime in the next few weeks, the mail should start coming. I’ll try to get a photo up of each free item, rate it for general usefulness, tell you how I used it and/or how I liked it. I’ll also tell you where you can order whatever the item is for yourself, if you’re interested.

Let’s see how this goes, folks.

Edit: If the free product is a tie-in with a Web site, I will evaluate only the material I receive in the mail, not the Web site or group offering the free product.
